It's amazing, the Red Sox are playing .500 baseball and today's Boston Globe still has 3 articles about the market for Sox tickets. Speaking of which, Kelly and I saw them play a pretty good (until the last two innings) game on Tuesday night. I don't think of myself as an easily annoyed kind of person, but the most annoying people in the entire world were sitting right behind us. We came up with a business plan for Red Sox-branded duct tape in mouth-sized strips.

Yesterday was gray and rainy. If we hadn't had plans with [livejournal.com profile] fj and [livejournal.com profile] pinkfish already, we probably would have called to see if they were bored at home too. We met them for brunch at Garden of Eden to celebrate Dean's birthday and then we all caught the T up to Davis to catch a little bit of Somerville Open Studios. We weren't really motivated to wander around much, but we did stop by [livejournal.com profile] pheromone's place to check out her stained glass. We also caught up with one of my former co-workers who was doing her first SOS show of jewelry and collages. On the way home, we stopped by Daniel Maher's stained glass studio, which I had been wanting Kelly to see for ages.

Today is supposed to be the first day of softball season, but it's been raining all day. I'm torn between really wanting to play and hoping that we'll get rained out instead of having a damp, soggy game. Either way, I need to get some exercise today because I've been lazy all week.
