Somerville schools are going to be closed tomorrow for the 4th day in a row. I grew up in New York. We got snow there. Blizzards, even. School closed a few times every winter, but never for 4 days in a row. I'm a little surprised that they're having this much trouble with the cleanup.
Kelly and I took Morgan to the vet last night. Traffic was bad and it took a long time. I rode in the back with him and he wanted out of the cat carrier, so I let him ride on my lap for a little while. I think it was the first time he'd gotten a good look out the car window. He was spooked for a minute and then he settled down. He's lost another half pound or so, but that may have been because he figured out how to cheek the pills Kelly was giving him. The vet wasn't too worried, so we're going to get him weighed again in another 3 weeks. I'm a little bit nervous about leaving him on his own for a few days, but hopefully the upstairs neighbors will be able to look in on him.
