What patience?
Aug. 26th, 2004 10:39 pmI got really frustrated at work today because I've been there for four whole days and I've hardly accomplished anything. Usually, when I work for 32 hours, stuff gets accomplished in the process. Fortunately, Kelly was at home so I called her and she laughed at me and then I got back to looking at code and documents in preparation for being productive soon.
The cool thing about this past week is that this is the first time I've tried to jump into a project where I really understood the core technology. There's still a whole ton of new stuff to learn about, but it's smoother sailing than some of my previous first weeks of work.
I have a much-needed haircut scheduled for Saturday morning. At the moment, I want to shave it all off. I think the end result will be something less dramatic, but I still need to lose a lot of hair.
