Handed in my keys at the old job today. I've left on very positive terms and I'm still really optimistic for my old employers and eager to see how they're going to move forward.

Picking up breakfast at the deli yesterday, I ran into the guy who'll be my boss at the new job. We had a good conversation and I'm really excited about starting there in a week. I'm going to have a lot to pick up pretty quickly, but it's going to be interesting. When I was down in New York last weekend, a bunch of my relatives were telling me about how data archiving impacts their jobs. It was cool because usually people just give me blank stares when I try to explain what I do. Even though I'm (thankfully) not going to be a consultant, I think there may be some neat opportunities to learn about a lot of different industries.

Lots of stuff going on over the next week. We're going to see the Red Sox on Monday if our tickets come in the mail on time. We're heading up to Maine for a few days with Kelly's folks. And after we get back, our living room furniture will finally be delivered.
