We got back to Boston a few hours ago. My sister's wedding was fantastic. Everything went really well. I'll write more about it when I'm not exhausted.
In other news, we did some interesting shopping today. We visited the just-opened IKEA in New Haven. It's huge and very conveniently right off the highway. I'm a bit relieved that they're not opening one in Assembly Square, right near my house. That site was the subject of some drawn-out legal battles. We picked up some little things, but nothing major. Maybe we'll make another visit after our couch finally arrives.
We also stopped by Penzey's in Norwalk on our way home to pick up some spices on which we were running low. We discovered that their next new store is going to be somewhere in Boston. I'm delighted because I have gotten way the hell lost en route to the store in Norwalk.
