Blog and stuff
Jun. 1st, 2004 09:40 amI've been playing around with the newly overhauled Blogger. I've set up a new blog on my homepage (http://www.panix.com/~blinker) that's still in very early stages. I'm going to be using it primarily for work-related stuff and I'm hoping that having someplace to write will help me stay focused on my own projects.
I managed to sit down and start working at 8 this morning, which is a good first step. Next up, I need to get over my deep reluctance to post my resume on Monster.com.
I had a new version of the forgot-I-was-taking-a-class nightmare in which I had to pass my comprehensive exam for computer science. Woke up and managed to convince myself that I had graduated from college in '98, had high-passed the exam in my junior year, and was not currently enrolled anywhere. There's probably some message about stress in all that.
Since being home alone all day is going to leave me starved for human interaction (even the cats are ignoring me), I'm reconsidering my opposition to instant messaging. For those of you who use IM (and might be inclined to exchange instant messages with me), any network/client recommendations? Aside from writing some Jabber code, I haven't really bothered with IM in about 2 years.
