The hardest part...
May. 28th, 2004 09:38 amI have not yet received the news I was hoping to get today. I'm not reading too much into the lack of news, but I was really hoping to head into this 3-day weekend with some inkling of what the future holds for me on Tuesday.
Kelly's stuck attending high school graduation this Friday evening or Saturday morning (if it rains tonight), which has complicated our weekend plans. Since I'm probably on my own tonight, I may swing by Diesel if I'm feeling social.
We are making a blitz trip down to NY on Saturday. We're going to watch my youngest sister play basketball in Hartford on Saturday night (driving for hours to watch high school basketball is a Slinker family hobby, Kelly's a saint for putting up with it). On Sunday we're going to visit my grandmother who's recovering from surgery at my aunt's house and then we'll drive back to Boston. I'm hoping to miss most of the holiday traffic. Since I'm not playing softball this weekend, I expect it to be 70 degrees and sunny on Sunday afternoon.
