The NY Times has an article about the Gauguin Tahiti exhibit at the MFA. Kelly and I went to see it last Friday during the preview they do for museum members. It's definitely worth seeing if you can make it over there. Lots of gorgeous, colorful, slightly creepy pictures (which I was expecting) and also a lot of other nifty stuff (carving, wood block prints, etc.) that I hadn't been expecting. Plus they've put together a lot of photographs of Tahiti in the late 1800s and photos he bought in Paris and used for inspiration. It's really one of the more interesting exhibits I've seen there in a while.
