Home improvement, part 1

Kelly and I made our first attempt at painting today. Our goal for the weekend is to get both bedrooms painted. We got all the supplies we needed plus some good advice from the hardware store in Ball Square. It was much better than going to Home Depot. The hardware store guy actually walked around the store picking out stuff for us and explained that we needed less stuff than we'd initially thought. It's good when supporting local businesses pays off, and as a bonus we didn't have to fight for parking at that monstrous shopping center in Everett.
