Maybe I should go see a movie that's mostly set in direct sunlight. Or would that just depress me more? Nobody knows. I actually haven't managed to see any movies this weekend. Nor have I seen very much sunlight.
I have spent an unusually large amount of time on a treadmill. Kelly gave me a free 3-day pass to Healthworks and then badgered me into going to the gym with her on Friday and Saturday. Despite not setting foot in a gym since January, I was able to run for 30 minutes today, which is a bit more than I've been able to do in the past (I've never been very good at running). I suspect that the improvement is mostly due to the Eat-Whatever-You-Want-And-Go-Down-A-Pants-Size Diet. Going to the gym is not fatal. I might actually get to liking it if I could get myself down to an 8-9 hour workday. Fortunately, scheduling makes it impossible for me and Kelly to go to the gym together except on the occasional vacation. I think we'd kill each other if we tried it more than once or twice a year.
The other interesting thing that happened today was that the landlord came over and leveled our stove (the house is sinking, and as a result the stove has been less than perfectly flat since we moved in). Kelly's going to be able to bake flat cakes now.
Tomorrow's big excitment is going to be laundry. If the sun doesn't come out soon, I may have to go back to work on Monday out of boredom.
