Too much snow
Mar. 20th, 2002 05:01 pmIt's 5:00 and very snowy. Today I have the dubious distinction of being the first person to arrive at the office and the last one to leave (I'm usually the former, almost never the latter). I should probably get going, but the 15 minute walk to the Orange Line doesn't look too inviting.
It's been a moderately productive day - a little more design work, finishing up the little Tic Tac Toe game that I wrote using the Symbian Java SDK (possibly the first game I've completed since the chess game I had to write for my final project in CS 11). I got the game itself working just fine, but everything fell apart when I tried to switch from a standard AWT frame to Symbian's QFrame container. But I discovered that all the AWT reading I did for the certification exam paid off because I actually understood the GUI code I was writing and that's an improvement over previous attempts.
