More soup / it's all good

We used the vegetable stock from Sunday to make Alpine Cheese Soup last night (mostly potatoes and carrots, gorgonzola and a splash of brandy for flavor). Very good stuff and a very easy-to-follow recipe. It received the highest possible rating on the Girlfriend Approval Scale ("we could serve this to company").

Got into the office bright and early this morning to do some design work. The system I need to design is starting to look like something more than an amorphous blob. And Kelly drove to work without any more car problems. It's gray and rainy out, but hopefully that means I won't have screen-obscuring sunlight to contend with this afternoon. I'm debating whether or not to try and swing by Diesel after work. It'd be fun, but I should probably get some studying done too.
