We had gorgeous weather this weekend. On Saturday, my first bike ride of the year was cut short after several blocks when I attempted to use a gas station air pump to inflate my rear tire and succeeded in letting most of the air out of it. On Sunday, I stopped in at Wheelworks to pick up a new bike pump, so I now have lovely well-inflated tires again.

Contemplating a bike commute instead of the current bus/subway/walk ordeal, I asked the woman working at Techspace's front desk about where one can store a bicycle around here. The answer is "in your office", which would significantly inconvenience my co-workers, so I'm not sure that'll be happening, but I can at least bike down to Davis and catch the T from there. Of course, tomorrow's forecast says to expect snow, so maybe I'll wait until it's really spring.

You could put brackets in the ceiling and hang it over your desk. Tell them it's a functional art piece.

If I could reach the ceiling, that would be an option. This building used to be a factory or a warehouse or something. The ceilings are at least 12 feet high and mostly covered with exposed pipes.
