Yet another Survivor series begins tonight. I really should know better than to get sucked in, but we'll see...

With adequate water (which they'll have), you can last for well over 2 weeks without food. But it seems unlikely that it'll come down to that. It's a tropical island with lots of vegetation and presumably some sort of animal population.

I'm about 15 minutes into the first episode now. You want to hear the really fun thing? None of the contestants knew beforehand that they'd have to find their own food. Surprise!
