the weird thing about this is that i actually *can* comment about this--i've never seen any of them (that is, any episodes of any of the iterations of "survivor") but i heard a promo on the radio this morning--they're going to find their own food. my question--if they can't find any food, does the camera crew just film them starving to death? (i guess they'd be able to last two weeks (is it two weeks?) without turning to cannibalism if they had water--at least *i* could--these thighs are good for something!)
With adequate water (which they'll have), you can last for well over 2 weeks without food. But it seems unlikely that it'll come down to that. It's a tropical island with lots of vegetation and presumably some sort of animal population.
I'm about 15 minutes into the first episode now. You want to hear the really fun thing? None of the contestants knew beforehand that they'd have to find their own food. Surprise!
