Dear Boston Globe Editorial writer dude,

If you want to make the laudable argument that being a fundamentalist Christian doesn't make you stupid, that's cool. If you want to rail against the notion that "science and the insanity of Christian fundamental doctrine cannot coexist", Galileo is not such a good historical example.

Atrios pointed out an ABC News story a few days ago. From Evangelicals to Bush: Payback Time:

Cass wants a U.S. Supreme Court that will outlaw abortion and gay marriage. "Do you want to take your children to a National League baseball game for instance and have homosexuals showing affection to one another? I don't want my kids to see that," he said.

I guess they're letting the homos have the American League. It's an interesting choice, given that the American League has the Angels.
