Kelly and I had a relatively odd evening. We hadn't made plans to cook, so we decided to go out for Thai food in Arlington. Walking into the restaurant, we ran into two acquaintances who we always see at our friends E+B's parties. We chatted with them for a moment before we sat down. When they were leaving, they stopped by our table to say hi and I think Kelly may have accidentally started a rumor that B is pregnant (she's not).
We finished our food and we were walking down Mass Ave when we heard a loud noise. We looked up and saw fireworks above the trees on the other side of the street, so we stopped and watched for a while. Nobody seemed to know where they were coming from, but a whole bunch of people were standing around on the street watching the show.
Then we swung by the grocery store to pick up some bread and peanut butter so I could take sandwiches for lunch when I go to play softball in Gloucester tomorrow. We did not look up and see the large signs overhead advertising a major back-to-school sale. Consequently, the sign I saw when I started down the produce aisle had me very confused:
