Weekend update
Jun. 13th, 2004 06:29 pmEven though I bailed on about half my social plans for the weekend (all of which revolved around E+B's wedding), I'm still ready to move to a cave and avoid people for a while. I did make it out of the house for a bit of the picnic that Kelly hosted at Boston Pride yesterday and for the wedding today, both of which were really nice. I'm totally over gay pride - I didn't see a single float or stop by a single booth (except for one of the generic street fair food stands, which was not particularly gay).
In other news, I'm thinking about rescheduling my birthday to a date that's further from a holiday weekend. Kelly always makes an effort to do something and I always feel bad because all my friends are busy or out of town and it's really my fault for not being born at a less busy time of year. I'm thinking that if I don't celebrate it for a year or two, only my mother will notice anything funny when I have a birthday in October or something. You'll all have forgotten this entry by then too, but in the meantime don't tell Kelly because she's not in on the plan.
The thing that sucks about Sunday night right now is how it's followed by Monday morning. When I have a job again, I am never going to complain about having to go to work on Monday morning.
