Inspired by a segment on NPR today, I'm watching Fox's The Swan. After 20 minutes, it's horrible enough that ABC's The Bachelor looks like pleasant entertainment.

The next time I say "oh, I'll drive down to New York for Passover and get back in time for work the next morning", please just shoot me. I did get to work by 9:20 this morning (and I would have been on time had it not been for a few minutes of stupidity in CT), but I had to wake up at 3:45 to do it and it was a small miracle that I didn't fall asleep while driving. Dunkin Donuts needs more franchises on I-95 north because I was in Massachusetts before I got my coffee fix.

After work, I decided to punish myself a little more, so I drove up to Burlington and went to a BEA user group meeting (which was actually pretty interesting) and then got lost trying to get home. I'm so not driving again until the weekend.

Passover was good. Fun family stories later. Is it true that one can't wear pants to one's sister's wedding if one is female? My mother and I had a small discussion about this and failed to reach a consensus. Anyone want to go dress-shopping?

Maura just came to say hi and decided to show her affection for me by walking across the keyboard of my laptop. The web site of John Kerry's presidential campaign came up. It's a good thing it wasn't a certain other candidate for president because Kelly would be in big trouble if it turned out that we had Republican cats.
