1. My girlfriend went out and bought Chanukah candles for me this evening because I hadn't been organized enough to buy any myself. She managed to find dark chocolate Chanukah gelt, too.
2. As of about 7:30 this evening, I am officially on vacation. I have no more work or school until January. I do have a to-do list that's a mile long, but some of it's fun.
My exam turned out not to require the last 2 hours of its scheduled time block. I called Kelly just as she was arriving at our friend Eve's house, so they drove over to get me and then we went back and hung out with Eve and her dog.
Morgan Lechat was totally thrilled that I stayed home to hang out with him today. He didn't quite understand that studying doesn't go better if there's a cat meowing under your chair. Hopefully, the novelty of me being in the apartment will wear off in a few days.
