Apr. 29th, 2003 09:00 amAs of today, I've been at my job for a year. That's pretty good. I had a great bike ride to work today too, because the weather is fabulous.
I had a burst of energy on Saturday morning and managed to get a bunch of cleanup work done on the spare room in our apartment that I've mostly been using to store junk for the past 2 years. I also logged on to Dell's web site and made arrangements to donate the old PC that's taking up space in there to charity through the National Cristina Foundation. It only took them two days to find an organization that could use it. Unfortunately, I agreed to drop it off if they found a local recipient, but their definition of local is much broader than my definition of local so the logistics may get messy. Once I get the computer out of there, the next challenge is to figure out what to do with the desk (which is a great desk for a 17-inch monitor but a hulking monstrosity for a laptop) and the computer equipment that's on top of it.
