[I can't sleep, so I'll post drivel because I can't post about the interesting parts of my life while they're in chaos...]

fj over the weekend and my increasing frustration at people who kept calling my mobile phone when it wasn't in my pocket, I finally caved and upgraded my 2 1/2 year old phone.
The new phone is a bargain-basement Nokia 3360, which is about half the size of the old phone and with twice as much battery life. I love new gadgets, even if I frequently put off buying them and know better than to spring for the expensive ones. It also plays downloadable ringtones, although I have yet to find one of "Brick House." Also 2-way text messaging. If you're among the 3 faithful readers who sometimes call me, my phone number is unchanged.
Now to convince Kelly that if we upgrade her mobile service too then we can ditch the land line...I haven't yet pointed out to her that if we have no land line then she'll never have to answer the phone when my parents call.
