The really frustrating thing about my current programming project is that I have to use the Java API for XML parsing and I can't remember a damn thing about it. I used it extensively when it was in beta about a year and a half ago, and now I'm staring at the screen blankly and wondering "what does this method do?" It's not so much fun.

I have zero focus this week, mostly because we leave for vacation on Friday. God only knows when I'm going to find time to pack. Fortunately, I've spent enough time traveling that it only takes me about 15 minutes to get stuff together. It's the pre-requisites like laundry that complicate things.

I've been distracting myself from work by playing lots of Jotto with notorious Jotto-enabler queue. I'm starting to get the hang of it. Maybe I'll teach Kelly how to play when she gets over her cribbage addiction (thanks, bitty!).
