Theoretically, it sucks to have to work on the weekend.
On the other hand, the thing that did not work before now reads data from the database. Friday's deadline no longer feels entirely unattainable, although there's still a lot of work to be done. I feel 100 times better than I did when Kelly dropped me off here 4 hours ago.

Date: 2002-05-11 06:35 pm (UTC)I'm still loving my new job. It's just that I started at a very intense time and with the assignment I got this week there's a certain sense of being thrown into the deep end without very much in the way of swimming lessons.

Date: 2002-05-12 08:25 am (UTC)i don't know, but ayana isn't. she doesn't even read my LJ unless i point her to something which means it has to be public or she has to read over my shoulder.
(thinks) beth's right that it's probably more than are posting actively to swlab, but i think that people still check swlab, see that "nope, nothing's happening" and move on. most of the people i think of in connection with swlab aren't here (at least that i know of).
