Not quite motivated to do anything while waiting for Kelly to get home in a few minutes, so why not blather into LJ? After Kelly gets home, we're off to Waltham to look in on a friend's cat and then go see "Nine Queens" at a nearby theater.
Accomplished some important room-cleaning today, but mostly goofed off. That's okay because tomorrow's a day of hard labor (helping my friend C move) and sadly no chance to see Garbage perform at EarthDay (but what sort of cruel heartless person would I be if I ditched C just because some extraordinarily babe-alicious rock singer is doing a free show downtown?).
Still no idea what's been up with the weather this week. It's not been anywhere near as drastic as the forecasts, but it's hard to plan much outdoor entertainment when the national weather service insists that you're due for a serious downpour. Kelly says there was snow this morning, but it was melted by the time I got up around 9.
Yesterday's hike in the Blue Hills was great fun. Bitty ran into
cthulhia downtown and invited her along. In addition to being great company, she brought along a GPS and the coordinates of a geocache (saving me and Bitty many minutes of "where do you want to hike?" "Doesn't matter. Is there somewhere you'd like to go?" "Pretty much anywhere is fine. Why don't you pick a trail?") so we got to find our first cache. And we managed to beat the rain, which didn't really start until we got back on I-93 to head home.
