It's just as well we didn't install the air conditioner yet...
My house stays unbelievably cool. I just went outside for a few minutes to warm up.
I don't know if it's just the way the sun hits us or if the $5 Redi-Shades from Home Depot have magical cooling powers, but we get great light without having the house heat up.
Got a bunch of things done today. This morning's workout was much better than yesterday's. I think I hit a personal best for running 2 miles, and I had enough energy to go grocery shopping afterwards. I'm making carrot-cashew curry from The Enchanted Broccoli Forest tonight. It should be interesting.
I also went to the tailor to get a dress altered. It'll be done in time for me to wear it to E+B's wedding on Sunday if I so choose. I keep telling Kelly that if I do then people will come up to her and ask who her new girlfriend is. We went shoe-shopping yesterday (my sister, who also has huge feet, pointed me at the web site of a place that turns out to have a store on Newbury Street) and I got high-heeled sandals that are surprisingly comfortable. The butch police are going to put out a warrant for my arrest any day now.

srl last night was a good motivator and he gave me some good ideas on where to look for work. A particular company keeps popping up everywhere, so I should probably send them a resume and get it over with.
