So, on FJ's advice of the past three years (and yesterday afternoon), I finally got around to buying a Tivo this afternoon. After setting up a few shows that I knew we'd want to watch, I clicked on the recommendations button. What's on the very first list of things Tivo thinks I should watch? Brave New Girl, a made-for-TV movie produced by Britney Spears (and her mother). I may have to record it just to find out whether it's more vapid than Glitter.

In other news, Kelly made molten chocolate cake, which is really good despite a slight recipe-scaling mishap. Unfortunately, the recipe only really scales down to 4, so we had to eat it two nights in a row. Next time she makes it, I should remember to invite friends over.
