Think about it this way: you are doing service to your whole office by not bringing your grimy germs to work with you. Better to have you home sick, than have the whole office sick next week. Take care of yourself. Have some soup, watch some Oprah, read some books, nap a bunch.
When I was sitting in the waiting room of the health center, I was reading this sheet on colds. The first piece of advice it gave was sleep as much as you need so that you feel better. Pretty good advice. I slept for 36 hours earlier this week and when I finally woke up felt almost completely better.
