Jun. 6th, 2005 12:23 pmEffective scheduling, by Blinker:
Friday: Get sick
Saturday: Get letter from health clinic announcing abrupt departure of primary care physician.
Sunday: Play 2 games of softball* in blistering heat because the team has no subs. Run around in the outfield as much as possible.
Monday: Feel awful. Spend the morning trying to work at home. Give up around noon and take a half-day of sick time.
Tuesday (projected): Drag self to work in the morning. Go to health clinic for appointment with doctor nobody's heard of.
*We lost the first by an inch and the second by a mile, but at least it was a nice day.
