While I am never going to hate the Yankees, I do think it's cool that the Red Sox seem to be winning this year. I was a New York Rangers fan in the early 1990s, when they hadn't won a championship since 1940. They used to go play the New York Islanders, who sucked and never made the playoffs, and the Islanders fans used to yell "1940!" at them. So I can appreciate what Red Sox fans are going through and I think the Sox deserve to win for a change.

On the other hand, nobody's sure what Francona was thinking putting Pedro on the mound like that.
