Dec. 17th, 2003 10:26 pmSo it looks like I do get to celebrate Chanukah with the usual suspects after all. E called Kelly and offered to reschedule for Saturday because of my final exam on Friday. That was really nice. Not having plans on religious holidays makes me miss my family in that nostalgic sort of way that can't be alleviated by actually going to visit them because they're different now. So we're doing that on Saturday and then it's my turn to make latkes on Tuesday.
I haven't really started studying for the final exam. For some unknown reason, this professor likes to give open book exams and has told us we can bring our notes to this one too. I'll work on it tomorrow and Friday. Tonight, I'm baking chocolate chip cookies for the office holiday party tomorrow afternoon. Baking is fun, although it's too bad that I'm becoming senile at age 27. I thought to myself "don't forget how many cups of flour you've measured" and then thirty seconds later I couldn't figure out if it had been 1 cup or 1.5 cups.
Lately it seems like all I ever write about here is how busy and overworked I am. But just you wait until next year, there'll be exciting new topics to discuss.
