So this was the first time in about a month that we actually went out on a Saturday night.
lcohen and her partner are in town in conjunction with alt.polycon, so we arranged to meet up with them,
fj,
danger_chick and her boyfriend M.
We went to Pho Pasteur for dinner and had a surprisingly easy time getting a table. When I saw the crowd in front of the restaurant, I had flashbacks to a dinner I organized a few years ago where about 14 of us spent at least 2 hours waiting for a table at Fire and Ice. At least one person got a girlfriend out of that dinner though, so I guess it wasn't so bad.
Anyway, we had a nice evening and I'm looking forward to catching up with more out-of-town folks at
bitty's house. I've realized that I'm completely inadequate at cooking vegetarian potluck food (the only thing I could think of was lasagna) because my vegetarian cooking is mostly of the stir-fry variety. If I were a better lesbian, I'd be able to whip up something with lentils, but instead I'm just going to make cookies.
