Nonstop excitement
Jun. 1st, 2002 10:59 pmAs of today, Kelly and I have been living together for exactly a year. In some ways it's gone really fast, in other ways it seems like we've been living togehter forever. We recently renewed our lease for another 2 years, so she's stuck with me for the forseeable future. She says that's okay.
Kind of a lazy day at home today. I started reading Laurie King's The Beekeeper's Apprentice, the first of her series of novels about Sherlock Holmes. I had resisted reading it for a while because I like her more modern stuff but I tend not to get into the historical mysteries as much. But it's good stuff.
After dinner this evening, we walked down to Davis Square for some fresh air and a visit to Diesel. I had been under the impression that the Windows Art Project (displays by local artists in shop windows) was going up this weekend and was surprised that the posters said it wasn't starting until Monday. But there were a few photo displays up already and we saw
cthulhia's display of pysanky (which looked fabulous) at the video store. We didn't pass
pheromone's photos (which may or may not be up yet, and I'm not sure where she's displaying them).
Sleep now. Softball tomorrow. I might meet up with some friends for the Israeli independence day celebration downtown before the game. Or I might just nap a lot.
