More gardening fun...

So I think we've managed to kill at least one or two of the dozen basil plants on the back porch. The guy at Homo Despot said that we could fit six plants into an 8" pot, but I think that was too many because we weren't able to get them all deep enough. Next time, I think we'll try to give them a little bit more space. I added small scoops of potting soil to the basil pots to see if that would help the remaining plants.

The surviving herbs all have a definite lean to them because all the sunlight comes in through the window. The dill (or maybe mint) that sprouted over the weekend is shooting up quickly, but the other pot of seeds is still quiet.
