Pleasant surprises
May. 4th, 2002 02:32 pmSo I go to the gym today after a week-ish hiatus (have I mentioned that I hate going to the gym?) and discover that Planet Fitness has been acquired by Bally's. For a $9/month rate increase, I can get access to all of the Bally's and Planet Fitness gyms in New England. This is potentially very cool because the Bally's in Porter Square is on my way to/from work* and the gym in Medford really isn't (it's a very quick drive, but then I have to drive home to drop off the car before I walk or catch the bus down to Davis). So I got a free pass to go check it out.
Aside from the trip to the gym, today's been a pretty lazy day (much needed after this past week, which was busy). In a few hours, we'll drop by![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
treacle_well's tea party before heading into the city to see The Theater Offensive's latest play, written by local poet Letta Neely. I've got stuff I've been meaning to write about (beyond the daily grind), but now I've got to go pick up some food that starts with "m" and run to the bank.
* work is currently in Central, but will move down near South Station in a few weeks, so there's lots of time on the Red Line in my future.
