it's good to get out of the house
Apr. 19th, 2002 11:03 amKelly was feeling a bit frazzled last night, so I suggested that we distract ourselves with video games. We drove over to Good Times in Somerville, which was not nearly as crowded or smoky as I would have expected. They've actually moved a lot of stuff around. We played some racing games, a few games of Tetris, Pac-Man, and some air hockey, and watched many groups of Asian teenagers play Dance Dance Revolution and its various clones. Didn't get a chance to try the batting cages, but maybe next time.
So today's my last day at work. Due to excessive slackitude in the morning, I didn't get in until 10:30. Still the first developer to arrive (there's one other person here too). We're having my going-away lunch at 1, if anyone's here by then. I'll probably take off in the middle of the afternoon to go over to GLAD and help them get their annual report mailed out. I'm happy that this week is almost over. Still no real plans for next week's vacation but that's probably just as well.
