At least it's not Monday
Apr. 16th, 2002 09:59 amSlightly more energetic today. Kelly and I went for a really nice walk last night, and I managed to get a decent night's sleep, so I'm feeling much better.
I'm back at the office, where I'm deleting 2 years' worth of crap from my directories on the server. The sheer number of things I was asked to do that never wound up going anywhere is impressive. The best was the intranet with custom hiring database for when we expected to be up to 60 people in Boston and London by the end of 2000. I've successfully used that as a counterexample whenever someone here wanted me to build something with a scope far beyond our immediate needs.
As usual, it's 10:30-ish and there are no co-workers to be found (except our CEO, who's back in town). I'll probably head out at 3 and stop by Diesel for a bit on my way home. Kelly might join me there after her workout, or I may just get the usual "Beth, where are you?" call on my cell phone. With Kelly on vacation this week and my laissez-faire attitude towards work, it'll hopefully be a pretty mellow week. I may even make it to tomorrow's Looney Game Night (after way too many months of meaning to attend one but not getting around to it).
