Achy pain in head makes programming hard. Actually, today is mostly a thinking-about-programming day. I'm packing up some stuff for my co-workers who are off to CTIA (big wireless trade show) next week, and starting to think about building an automated load-testing tool that'll simulate many mobile users hitting our servers. Breakfast and coffee failed to fix achy head pain, but I think there's Advil around here somewhere.
In other news, Java exam studying is going well. The chapters that relate to stuff I actually use at work go much faster than the ones that don't. And I finally sat down and forced myself to memorize the finer points of bit shifting (or "bitch ifting" as Kelly misheard it the other day). Studying is kind of weird after 3 years of not doing it, but it's fun. After I get this stupid exam out of the way, it's going to be time to start looking at grad school applications (there are big booklets of info from BU, Northeastern and UMass scattered around my apartment, but I haven't had time to think about it yet).
